Asia

LEGAL 21 ABOGADOS focus an important portion of its activity in Asia, and approaches it from a double perspective:

As a geographical zone of the world for rendering legal services to our Clients. Our relationships with foreign Law Firms in this part of the world (China, Hong-Kong, Singapure, Malaysia, Taiwan, The Philippines…) allow us to represent and to provide support to our Clients in international jurisdictions where they may need local forensic services, always through personal, close relationships with available, identified representatives.

J. Félix de Luis is a member of the panel of the most important Asian Arbitration Courts such as the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (SHIAC), the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), the Weihai Arbitration Commission (Shangdong), in CHINA; the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), in SINGAPORE; the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) in MALAYSIA; the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) in SOUTH KOREA; the Chinese Arbitration Association (CAA), in TAIWAN and the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center (PDRC) in THE PHILIPPINES.

Secondly, LEGAL 21 ABOGADOS considers Asia as an area to search and to develop business opportunities for the Spanish corporations. Similarly , it can be regarded as an area for the Asian corporations, to search and to develop of business opportunities in Spain and Latin-América.

J. Félix de Luis has done a personal bid in relation with the “triangulation” or the position of Spain between Asia and Latin-América. The “triangulation” is the Spanish bid for Latin-Amércia as a way for our companies to expand its presence in Asia and vice versa, as a way to use Spanish´s role as a reference for the Asian companies interested in multiplying its presence in Latin-America and Spain, due to our importance there.

As a proof of this bid, is the foundation of the Association named “Chamber of Commerce Singapure-Spain”, considering that country as gateway for the so called “Asean Countries”.
